Eating and cancer

This page simply offers some resources specifically on the topic of eating and nutrition.

Now, often when we are struggling with an illness we don't much feel like doing our research. But why not enlist the help of a trusted friend who can access the resources and help you get the best of them.

Watching a video can be a pleasing way to spend an hour or so - perhaps taking notes as you go.

The books displayed are offered because they are colourful and therefore inspiring, even enticing, with simple easy to follow recipes and again if you are not able to prepare your own food, could you have someone else come in and make several meals for a few days?

To your health!

This video is one in a series from Chris Work, from

In 2003 Chris was diagnosed with Stage IIIc colon cancer with a golf ball sized tumour in his large intestine; the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes. He decided against chemotherapy after surgery and after prayerful consideration radically changed his diet. He started a blog in 2010 to share his story and all his research about nutrition and natural therapies for cancer. He did all the hard work so you don’t have to. Probably the best cancer and nutrition website I have found.

Please disregard part 2 of the video and instead go to the website for current resource offers.

Watching a video can be helpful, if you take notes to help you remember the key points.

Sometimes it is better to buy a book.

One of the best books I have found about cancer and eating is Cook for Your Life.
