Personal Development Coaching

                      … for Life’s Challenges

or when you just want to make more of life

I'm wondering, do you often or even periodically …

Ask “Is this all there is?”

Feel like there is something more to life.

Experience unusual sleep patterns

Feel like you want more freedom and less stuff

Feel there is something bigger for you to accomplish but you just can’t get figure out what it is

Experience that your belief systems are breaking down and changing

Have a sense of feeling lost, at sea

Have a sudden urge for a new job or career, to serve

Lack direction on what it would look like to live an authentic, fulfilled life.

Find yourself having increased self-talk or talking to “something” “your creator”

Have an inner intuitive calling but fear financial instability if you “follow your heart”.

Experience synchronicities – moments or experiences that are more than coincidence

Find you can’t really share your dreams and goals with family and friends for fear they will mock

Need certainty yet feel you can’t fully trust yourself to listen to your “intuition”.

Feel undervalued at work or at home

Long for people to get you and appreciate you

Experience profound feelings of “oneness”

Have a sense that humanity needs to waken before it destroys itself

Have profound moments of deep sadness and / or aloneness

Feel less and less connected to your circle of family, friends, and colleagues

Then get in touch

Depending on your answers to the above, you may benefit from exploring some personal development or taking a look at your life and making plans to shake it up a bit. Or it may be you are going through a spiritual awakening, a raising of consciousness. Either way, could you do with some support, guidance, partnering, or mentoring?

Redhead Model

Your power in life is directly related to your purpose, passions, and beliefs and the meaning of your life.

Having a primary purpose ignites the passion in your being.

Your beliefs are the fuel that drive you through challenges and into personal success.

They will either support you in achieving your purpose and passions, or get in the way.

What is your purpose, and what are your passions and beliefs?

Consider Personal Life Coaching

A typical programme of personal coaching will consist of four to six (or perhaps

more) one-hour Skype sessions spread over three to six months. Working by

Skype is highly effective and cost efficient.

Different coaches will offer different services for different reasons and use

different methodologies. So if you are considering coaching do your research,

find out about their approach and whether you must have a minimum number

of sessions. Ask questions, listen to your intuition, do you and your possible

coach resonate with each other?

Specific areas covered

It is unwise, I believe, to try to compartmentalise things too much and your issues or

reasons for seeking help could cover a wide canvas. If you imagine an iceberg, you may

approach me thinking your issue is what you know and see ie the tip of the iceberg.

In reality the cause and means to deal with your issue are often found in the depths of

the lower portion, the part below the surface. As such, sometimes the reasons why we

don't do or do things, is often outside our awareness.

The following is an indication of the key areas I tend to be asked to work with but you

are not restricted to these alone. If you are unsure if I can help, please have the free

Health and Lifestyle

Health and lifestyle issues can be covered in personal development coaching.

The following services are also offered:-

1:1 Radical Healing Sessions for people with specific health issues and in need of one-to-one time

Intuitive reading

The T-Factor programme (link) a training programme for people who want to learn more about healing, creating health, and well-being. Becoming available early 2019.

Our social interactions, including the relationship we have with our self, will either nourish or deprive us, be a source of pleasure or pain.

Are your relationships nurturing and fulfilling?

Are there relationships  with which you struggle, even including the one you have with yourself?

Are you surrounded by people that care about you and feed you– or are you lonely, perhaps surrounded by people that drain you?

If you’re with a partner, is your relationship a healthy one? Are the dynamics between you healthy and supportive?

Given we spend almost a third of our lives at work, it is worthwhile exploring whether the time has come for a change in direction.

Are you just doing a job or creating a life?

Are you happy in your work, with your company?

Does your work fullfill you, allow you to express your creativity?

Do you feel something is missing, that there could be something “more!” that you could be doing something more worthwhile?

How satisfied are you with your current career progression?

Do you enjoy your work environment and your colleagues or are you just barely tolerating them?

Is your full potential being realised with your current job?

Are you happy with your current work-life balance?

Your Life’s Legacy

As we age, we often have a sense that as life ends, we want to ensure that we leave a meaningful contribution – to leave a positive mark on the world

How would you like people to remember you when you’re gone?

Do you know what will be your mark be on the world?

Is it important what legacy you will leave behind?

If you were to die today, what regrets would you have?

Have you summarised your wishes in one document?

The Spiritual Dimension:

People often seek spiritual life coaching when they sense or experience a lack of a strong sense of purpose in life when they feel lost, depressed, and unfulfilled.

Do you find yourself frustrated with your lot in life?

Are you increasingly irritable with people around you?

Are you content and at peace with yourself?

Do you know who you are; and are you clear what core values drive you?

What are your greatest fears? How do they impact your life? More importantly, do you know how to overcome your fears?

Is there an area of your life  which if improved, would make you much happier and more peaceful , are you ready to do something about it?

Chances are your issues may be a mix of all of the foregoing!

That said, I’m not impressed by job titles; as Maya Angelou once said, “I’ve learned that making a ‘living’ is not the same thing as making a ‘life.’” So whatever your title, it tells me little about you the person, and if it is regarding work, where you trained, how long ago, how current your knowledge and experience are, how you are as a being, what you aspire to, and if so why, and why you’re holding yourself back from becoming the best version of you possible.

I work in many ways - holistically, spiritually, and metaphysically, led by Spirit and Soul. I can draw from the philosophies of : -

Functional medicine (which addresses cause, not just symptom) By shifting the traditional disease-centered focus of medical practice to a more patient-centered approach, functional medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms.

Gestalt – a relational theory developed in the 1940s by Fritz Perls, which states that each person is a whole (mind, body and soul) and that self-awareness is key to personal growth and developing full potential. It recognises that self-awareness can become blocked by negative thoughts and behaviour that can leave people feeling dissatisfied, unfulfilled, and unhappy.

Integrative medicine - bridging the gap between the allopathic (ie conventional medicine) and holistic (eg complimentary, alternative, Ayurvedic, Chinese, and Shamanic approaches)

Intuitive medicine – whilst a conventional doctor focusses on symptoms, relies completely on logic and physical tests to make a diagnosis and treat the patient, a medical intuitive relies on his “reading” of the patient’s energy, as well as his understanding of the mind-body connection. I do not diagnose.

Lifestyle medicine

Metaphysics – simplistically, how thoughts and attitudes influence our bodies—for both health and illness.

Nutritional medicine - which is at the root of so many health challenges and conditions

Psychoneuroimmunology – lovely big word which simply means the influence of emotional states (such as stress) and your nervous system activities and how they affect your immune function especially in relation to the onset and progression of disease ie simplistically, what’s going on in your mind affects what’s going on in your body

Spirituality – yours, not mine – meditation, prayer and guidance from the sacred source! I encourage and support you to find your own way!

Transactional analysis – (or TA for short) a model of people and relationships,  developed in the 1960s by Dr. Eric Berne,  based on two notions:- 1) that we have three parts or 'ego-states' to our personality, and 2)  that these converse with one another in 'transactions' (hence the name).

Modalities  - in my work I use, as relevant, and to name but a few, ...

  1. Active listening

  2. Assigning exercises, projects, for you between sessions

  3. Discussion

  4. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

  5. Energy medicine activities for health and well-being

  6. Gestalt

  7. Healing modalities

  8. Hypnosis

  9. Intuition -  I work intuitively and encourage you to do so too

  10. Journalling – which I request you do

  11. Meditation

  12. Metaphysical treatments and exercises

  13. Mind-Body exercises

  14. Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)

  15. Prayer – which is not always religion

  16. Qi Gong

  17. Respect for people of al religions and those of none

  18. Spiritual counselling and directing

  19. Transactional analysis

  20. Transpersonal psychology - a "school" of psychology that integrates the spiritual and transcendent aspects of the human experience

So, my services are for you if you are seeking a unique place to help you flourish in these challenging socio-economic times; this could be about your health and well-being, your work, about relationship, about your personal development within the wider framework of a spiritual and mystical life. Above all, I offer a skilled dialogue space to listen beyond your small ego demands and find ways to be of service to individuals, our community and the larger system however we understand it.

My Kick Butt Manifesto

I will

Kick butt if I think it would help

Help you pick yourself up when you fall down

Cheer lead, inspire, encourage, support, nudge, cajole, respect you

Offer my shoulder if needed

Remind you life is for living and fun is ok

I won't

Accept excuses such as "I didn't have time"

Let you get sidetracked -by life, love, or laziness

Let you lie to yourself

Let you blame other people

Try to fix you or even see you as broken

Let you think you deserve only second best
