Edinburgh plastic free shopping

Another Edinburgh, plastic-free grocery shop, join’s the UK’s zero-waste ‘revolution’
The Radical Healer is not just about health; it encourages you to consider how you source the products that create and sustain good health and how sustainably and eco-friendly produced, packaged, and transported those products are.
And so we say congratulations and all good wishes to The Refillery, in Edinburgh, the latest in a string of dedicated plastic-free grocery shops to open up in the UK. It is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-7pm and 11-4pm on Sundays and also sells online at therefillery.co.uk
Customers of The Refillery, located in Newington Road, Edinburgh, bring their own tubs, bags-for-life, or other containers, fill them up and pay by weight. It sells unpackaged goods, and everyday staples such as pasta and rice, as well as carefully sourced beeswax wraps, cruelty-free shampoos, ‘ethical detergents’, farm-fresh eggs, fresh bread, fruit, toothpaste in a jar, and vegetables.
Two other plastic-free shops in Edinburgh include The Eco Larder, Haymarket, and Weigh to Go, Leith.
